What’s Next?
If you do NOT have a smart meter installed:
The system will be commissioned (“Commissioned Date”) on the {{PRJ:COMMISSION.DATE}} which also means your billing period will also start.
This means you have from today till the {{PRJ:COMMISSION.DATE}} to contact your electricity retailer to arrange for a smart meter switchover.
- We unfortunately cannot contact them on your behalf as you are the account holder. But your solar company (our partners) can help with any documentation that may be required.
- Please note to action this as soon as possible so that you can benefit from the clean energy from the system.
If you do have a smart meter installed:
The system will be commissioned (“Commissioned Date”) today {{PRJ:TODAY.DATE}} which also means your billing period will also start.
Please contact your electricity retailer to see if they have a solar Feed-in-tariff offer available for your home if you have not done so.
Your system “Commissioned Date” marks the first official date of your PPA Plan with us.
Please note this down:
Payments are directly debited from your nominated bank account, starting from the next calendar month. You will receive a bill on the {{PRJ:INVOICE.DATE}} day of every month, 7 days before the scheduled direct debit date. This way you can help us by ensuring the amount due is available to avoid any late or non-payment fees.
We at Powow Energy understand your circumstances may change from time to time. So we will also endeavour to help you in those changes as they come along. So here are a few frequently asked questions and answers.
Frequently asked questions:
1. What if I need to change my nominated bank account?
- Please let us know by email the request to change the nominated bank account 7 business days before the scheduled direct debit date. This way we can send you a new direct debit form to be filled out and we can make those changes with our banking facilities accordingly.
2. What if I paid the monthly bill amount prior to my scheduled direct debit date?
- Please let us know via email the payment amount and remittance 3 business days before the scheduled direct debit date. Once we receive your payment, we will then credit the extra paid amount towards your next bill. This way you do not have to worry about any extra payments that may have been made.
3. I forgot to have the required amount ready in my account and it has now passed the scheduled direct debit date. What happens next?
- We understand that life can get out of hand sometimes and if you can make the payment within 24 hours of the scheduled direct debit date and send us the remittance via email we can allocate it to your account without any late payment fees. Please note after 24 hours there will be a late payment fee charge applied to the next bill.
4. I think my system is not working. Help!
- Our technicians are always remotely monitoring your system and if we see that the system has a fault or is offline we will make contact with you to let you know so we can resolve the issue together. However, if you have any other concerns please drop us an email and we can help you from there.
5. Does my system have to be always online?
- Yes. It is critical to ensure your system is always connected to the Internet so we can monitor your system to ensure it is always working. If we find the system is offline we will notify and we require your help to get it back online. This is as per the terms and conditions of the EnerGuard® product.
